Journal of Audiological Medicine
The Journal of Audiological Medicine was launched in 1992 and is the Journal of the International Association of Physicians in Audiology (IAPA), which is a society of clinicians interested in the diagnosis and medical management of hearing and balance disorders. The Journal is published at present, three times a year and aims to provide a forum for the discussion of the many diverse aspects of audiological medicine - paediatric audiology, auditory electrophysiology - with a view to disseminating information and promoting research and improved management. Papers are likely to be submitted primarily by audiological physicians, but papers from other medical disciplines related to audiological medicine will be encouraged. Papers reporting experimental, scientific, theoretical and clinical results will be especially welcome.
The journal will include occasional reviews of topical subjects together with brief communications which would not justify publications as a full paper. Contributions will be subjects to peer review. The editorial direction of the Journal will be provided by a large international team of specialist with various interests in the field of audiological medicine.
